Company History:

Wrapped Profiles, the beginning of a new technology.

The Berg Company was founded in 1971 by Gunther Berg. The initial aim was to master the procedures and the technology of profile wrapping. The break-through came in 1974, the same year the company moved to today's premises.

As the "Pioneers of Wrapping Technology", 31 years later, we are as ever an efficient supplier of fronts and system components not only to the Furniture Industry. 400 employees working in 5 production plants achieve a turn-over of € 62 Mio.p.a.

1986 The production of wrapped panels began
1991 The following subsidiaries were founded:B.S. Bauprogramm GmbH, Wünnenberg-Haaren
Spelog Speditions GmbH, Wünnenberg-Haaren
BERG Holztechnik GmbH, Horb
1993 BERG Polska z.ó.ó., Rogozno (PL) was founded
1996 Concentration of domestic production on the plants in Rietberg and Warburg
1997 Take-over of PUR Möbelprofile- Vertriebsgesellschaft GmbH/Recke
The production of 650 mm wide Furniture Elements was started
1998

Take-over of FB Möbeltüren GmbH/Gütersloh
